Senior Electrical Engineer

Sacramento Engineering Consultants has openings for a Senior Electrical Engineer (Duties include sketches, calculations, layouts, reports, estimating product selection, and design and engineering for electrical, fire alarm and fire protection systems. Also, assist in professional engineering design, plan check services, design, build engineering services of mechanical, fire protection and electrical distribution systems; conduct short circuit studies, energy conservation studies and feasibility studies; and evaluate mechanical, fire protection, and electrical systems in existing buildings).

Require Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years related experience.

Mechanical Engineer

Sacramento Engineering Consultants has openings for a Mechanical Engineer (Generate mechanical system design in HVAC and Plumbing. Meet with clients, architects and other engineering discipline to coordinate prior to design work. Perform HVAC load calculations, water and waste system calculations, equipment sizing/selection, specifications writing/revision, equipment submittals review, Title 24 compliance documentations, piping/ductwork sizing, layout design and CADS drafting. Perform city plan check submission and corrections, site coordination, responds to client/contractor information request and resolve possible problems as they arise. Supervise mechanical drafting technicians, providing red marks for errors and monitor drawing production and submission. Utilize trade computer programs such as AutoCAD, Carrier E20 HVAC load calculation, Title 24 Energy Compliance and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Require Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years related experience.
