Since Elias began his career with Sacramento Engineering Consultants over twenty years ago, he has proven himself to be an extremely capable and reliable individual. His continuous quest to improve his knowledge and skills, coupled with his drive and intelligence have enabled him to progress from draftsman to designer in a short time and to become an invaluable member of our team.

Elias is responsible for the design and selection of mechanical heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for various new and existing construction projects. He performs the calculation of energy loads and the completion of state and local documentation requirements. His expertise in Title 24 Energy Compliance calculations assures compliance with minimal equipment cost to the owner. Elias' design experience has included: buildings, restaurant/kitchen facilities, nursing homes, schools, apartment complexes, and military facilities.

Elias has experience in the usage of HAP, TRACE and Title 24 Energy Compliance programs for equipment selection and energy compliance. In addition to his mechanical experience, Elias has extensive experience in plumbing design. Elias is adept at the coordination of mechanical units and ductwork with architectural, structural and electrical requirements. He is knowledgeable of handicap codes and Americans with Disabilities Act requirements as they apply to plumbing design.

Elias' particular expertise is engineering the special systems associated with restaurants. Kitchen hood and make-up air systems, kitchen plumbing, including grease traps and grease interceptors, and other code requirements associated with dining facilities have become his specialty.

Elias has engineered mechanical systems for IHOP, Burger King, Togo’s, Baskin Robbins, Max=s Restaurants, and Boston Market as well as dozens of independent restaurants.

Also, success on ARCO, Texaco, Exxon, Shell, Tosco and independent gas station new and remodel projects is evidenced by the hundreds of stations engineered by Elias while at Sacramento Engineering Consultants.
